Peter Cardon is a business communication professor in the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California. He researches global business communication (with a focus on China), AI and business communication, virtual teams, leadership communication, and other topics about interpersonal communication.
Pete is an active Rotarian and currently serves in the West Jordan Rotary Club. Rotary is a service club that is "dedicated to causes that build international relationships, improve lives, and create a better world to support our peace efforts and end polio forever." He has served in roles such as president, fundraising chair, and international service chair. He loves the Rotarian motto of "Service above Self."
Among his hobbies are international travel, hiking, and running. He has lived in Greater China (mainland China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong) for nearly three years and travels to China almost every year to work and spend time with friends. His favorite trips include a round-the-world backpacking trip just after graduating from college, the Philippines, Yemen, Turkey, and the amazing Machu Picchu.
